Inaugural Spring Development Season
The Spring Development League is a great opportunity for players to continue developing their soccer skills under a more casual environment. It is all about fun, staying fit and developing the skills and knowledge of the participants; coaches, referees and players alike.

The league will not maintain records and the emphasis will be on growing a love of the sport and building technique and fitness.
Our spring core development program is designed to continue player development for children under the age of 18 years old. This program will consist of an 8 game season. This program is open to all age appropriate players, and participation in our Fall Core Program is not required. ***The Spring Development League will be a Coed league, unless there are enough players to make separate teams for boys and girls.***
However, please note that while the region will attempt to form separate boys' and girls' teams, this will be solely based on the number of registrants and the possibility of such separate teams. If there are not enough registrations per division to form an adequate number of separate teams, the region will form smaller teams for short-sided games (E.g., 5v5, 7v7, 9v9) or Coed teams (mixed teams of boys and girls).
Although we desire to include every child who wishes to play soccer, registration will be by waitlist only until we have coaches volunteer to take teams. Once coaches are registered, we will start activating players to pay their open orders.
***In an attempt to follow the AYSO tenet of Balanced Teams, we cannot accept requests for players to be with specific coaches. For the spring development season, we will take buddy requests-children to be placed on the same teams as other children(in the same divisions)-though this may not be guaranteed. Only the coach's children within the same division are guaranteed to be on the same team.
A non-refundable AYSO player membership fee of $25 is included with your registration. This membership fee is charged only once per year, so if your player was registered in the Fall or played in another AYSO Region in the Fall, you will not be charged this fee again in the Spring.
